Dark ruby-red. Fine red cherries and black currants and black plums with hints of toasty French oak. Smooth, round, well balanced and tasteful with a long finish.
The grapes for this Cabernet Sauvignon come from the Puente Alto Vineyard in the Maipo Valley; Chile`s most noted wine region. The wine is aged 14 months in one, two and three year-old French oak barrels. It is then aged a further six months after bottling. Marques Cabernet Sauvignon is a well-balanced wine with a long finish. The wine complements steaks, roasts, pasta dishes with robust sauces, and strong cheeses.
